Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

ARTICLE WRITING GUIDELINES

  1. GENERAL GUIDELINES
  • Manuscripts submitted to the editorial office must be original research papers.
  • The article must not have been previously published in any other media. If the article or part of it has been published or presented elsewhere, the author must clearly state this in the submission.
  • Manuscripts should be written in standard Indonesian or English, using Garamond 12 font on A4-sized paper, with margins set at 2.5 cm on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right), and single-spaced line spacing.
  • The manuscript length should be between 6,000 and 7,000 words (including abstract, figures, graphs/tables, and references). The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English, ranging from 150 to 300 words, and accompanied by 3–5 keywords.

  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process by expert reviewers, and the final decision for acceptance is made by the Editor. Accepted manuscripts may be edited by the editorial team without altering the substantive content.
  1. TECHNICAL GUIDELINES

Title

  • The title should be concise, effective, and informative, not exceeding 12 words including conjunctions.
  • Font used: Garamond 12, single-spaced.
  • The manuscript must include the author’s information: full name without academic titles (Garamond 12, bolded), institutional affiliation, institutional address, and email (Garamond 10, single-spaced).
  • Institutional affiliations reflect where the author is currently active.
  • Author names and their order (in case of multiple authors) should reflect the level of contribution and participation in conducting the research and writing the report. All authors are responsible for the content of the manuscript.

Abstract

  • The abstract should be concise and factual, covering the research objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  • It must be written in both English and Indonesian, approximately 150–200 words in a single paragraph, using Garamond 10 font.

Keywords

  • Include 3–5 keywords or keyword phrases.
  • Keywords should be italicized and separated by semicolons (;).
  1. STRUCTURE OF THE ARTICLE

The article must consist of the following sections:

INTRODUCTION

  • The section heading "Introduction" must be in Garamond 12 pt, bolded, and single-spaced. The body text uses Garamond 12 pt with justified alignment and a 6 pt spacing below the heading.
  • The introduction should cover the background of the research, previous related studies, research expectations, scientific benefits, novelty, objectives, and methodology. Typically, this section should be around two pages long and single-spaced.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

  • The heading “Results and Discussion” must be in Garamond 12 pt, bolded, and single-spaced. The body text uses Garamond 12 pt with justified alignment and a 6 pt spacing below the heading.
  • This section should clearly and concisely present the findings of the research, highlight differences between the current results and previous works, and provide analysis and interpretation.
  • Results and discussion can be combined or divided into sub-sections as needed.
  • Tables should be simplified and formatted as open tables. Figures/maps should focus on the main research object and must not be too large or complex (preferably in JPG format). All tables and figures should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 3).
  • In-text citations follow the APA Style. For details, refer to the citation guidelines provided.

CONCLUSION

  • The heading “Conclusion” must be in Garamond 12 pt, bolded, and single-spaced. The body text uses Garamond 12 pt with justified alignment and a 6 pt spacing below the heading.
  • The conclusion should summarize the key findings addressing the research objectives, contribute to academic development, explain its relevance for journal publication, and suggest potential applications or future research directions.

REFERENCES

  • The heading “References” must be in Garamond 12 pt, bolded, and single-spaced.
  • Only sources cited within the manuscript should be included in the reference list.
  • Preference should be given to citing scholarly journal articles.
  • Authors are encouraged to cite one or more articles from Anida.
  • Reference formatting follows the APA Style. For detailed instructions, please refer to the technical guidelines on reference formatting.
  1. CITATION SYSTEM

In-text citations follow the APA Style format:

  • For a single author: (Author's last name, Year: Page number).

Example: (Kusnawan, 2000:21) or ... as stated by Kusnawan (2000:21).

  • For multiple authors: (First author's last name et al., Year: Page number).

Example: (Muhyiddin et al., 2010:100) or ... according to Muhyiddin et al. (2010:100).

  1. REFERENCE LIST FORMAT

The reference list should follow the APA Style Guide. Below are examples of commonly used source types:
